Explosions In The Sky play Dublin's Vicar Street on the 10th July 2012. Support is from slowcore legends Low and tickets are priced at 28 euro.

Neil Young's latest album sees him reunited with his backing band Crazy Horse for with the first album in quite some time.

Americana is a collections of folk classics reimagined by Young and his band as well as a cover of British National anthem.

Phil Elverum returns with the first of two new Mount Eerie albums to be released this year, titled "Clear Moon".

Gig: Forbidden Fruit 2012

Forbidden Fruit, the Dublin music festival set in the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, returns for it's second year. This years festival has been extended to three days (Saturday 2nd June - Monday 4th June).

Consisting of one open air stage and four tented indoor areas including a newly added Comedy Tent, the festival runs from 2pm-10.45pm daily.

There is no parking or camping at the festival but is easily accessible from Dublin city centre by bus or luas (Dublin's tram line).

The lineup includes: Leftfield, Holy Fuck, New Order, Death Cab For Cutie, Atlas Sound, Wilco, Mazzy Star, Andrew Bird and Cloud Nothings to name but a few.
